Survey Monkey what is it?

It's a place where you can "create smart professional surveys with ease".  you dont need to install any software and you dont need any troublesome manuals. Just open up and account and go.

Hands on presentation

Students will take an inclass survey on something interesting or new they learned on their miniteach topic and how they plan to implement it in the classroon. Then they will grade their overall presentation 1-4,  1 being falls far below. 2 meets.  3 proficient , 4 exceeds

Teacher resources

Teachers can use surveys as a way to assess for learning.

Teachers can use a survey to assess of learning

It is an easy way to communicate with parents and get instant feedback. Would work best if done on a weekly basis ex. wednesday at 5:00 pm and must be responded to that night.

This will get parents involved with their childrens learning.

This also is a motivational tool for students to get assignments and tests done outside of the regular pen and pencil style. It will give them the opportunity to interact wia internet.

The best thing is it is free and the response time is much faster.

Benefits  Students will have a new outlet to communicate.

This is a great tool that big companies use. For instance facebook, campbells, and xm radio.
