1. Have students go to the website directly and get a feel for the site they will be working with

2. Give students ideas on what could motivate others while in the classroom

3. Students could create their own motivational poster or get ideas from the website listed under Resources.

2. The intent of motivational posters is to make people achieve more, or to think differently about the things that they may be learning or doing.

3. www.MotivateUs.com Students could use this website for examples. Also please let students know if they use something that is not their own they must cite where they got it from on their posters. Plagiarism is not accepted.

Applications for future teachers:

1. Students could work with a partner to develop a motivational poster for the classroom and these posters could be voted on.

2. This could be used in content areas of middle/high school for homeroom classrooms or for a mini competition between the students.

3. This could be used in K-5 classrooms as an individual project in the beginning of the year.
